Favourite card shape ....
Uuummmm, the challenge over at Polka Doodles Challenges is about our favourite card shapes and before writing this post I was going to say "everything and anything" is my favourite card shape but that would be a wee bit of a fib. I would say that my favourite "go to all the time" shape has to be a square card blank. Doesn't matter much about the size but normally square and was trying to work out why but not sure I have a definite answer.
So with this in mind, here is my square Polka Doodles card ...
I have used Octavia, Time from the Frosted Winter collection to create my card. All the other elements are from the same collection. In this instance I have used a pre-coloured image which I have cut out and multi layered. As an added extra, I have added pearl drops to her hair and glaze to the watch dial.
I think the sentiment is wonderful and although I have used it on this card, it would be fantastic to use on any Christmas card.
This card was one of my samples that went to Nikky for the launch of the Frosted Winter CD on Create and Craft. However as is always the case with Polka Doodles, you can also get the collection on an instant download too.
Phew ... one project down, now loads more to blog about and have another one "drying" in the wings which I will share on Sunday.

I have placed Octavia Time amongst poinsettias and other Christmas embellies . All these elements were hand cut with all the button elements having glaze centres. Whilst the glaze was still wet, I sprinkled glitter on top.
